Please pray for the Peace of Jerusalem every day, as Israel is God's land, and the Jewish People are GOD's chosen people. Remember that Christ JESUS was a Jew, and Christianity was formed by GOD as the fulfillment of prophecy given to the Jewish nation, with its roots in the Jewish Religion as outlined in the Old Testament of The Holy Bible.

A Call to Prayer and
Testimony
In the
opening verses of this chapter our Lord declares that he
will not rest till his purpose of grace is accomplished.
"For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for
Jerusalem's sake I will not rest." His soul is set
upon the perfection of his church. There is never a
moment when the heart of Christ ceases to beat high with
desire for the salvation of his redeemed. From the
dreadful work of making atonement he stayed not his hand,
but set his face like a flint towards it, till he could
say, "It is finished": and now the following
work of the out-gathering of his chosen he carries on
with quenchless zeal, never staying his divine
intercession, never withholding his hands from wielding
that "all power" which is given him in heaven
and in earth... |

Yeshua Shalom |
| Spiritual Peace - JESUS says:
|
Salvation for the Jews! The Jewish people are afforded Salvation through belief in the coming Messiah! True faith in GOD is rewarded. If we believe the WORD of GOD, The HOLY BIBLE, then we must accept JESUS as our Messiah. |
The Old Testament is prophecy of Salvation through the Coming Messiah, the New Testament is Prophecy Fulfilled: The Messiah has come to offer Salvation for all. In Revelation The Messiah comes again, this time to rule and reign on the earth. |
|
| John 4:22 "...salvation is of the Jews." As JESUS was a Jew, we too, are completed Jews, who have accepted JESUS CHIRST as our Saviour. He is our Messiah. The Jewish people are still awaiting their Messiah. When JESUS comes again (Second Coming) He will be received by them as LORD and KING, MESSIAH, SAVIOUR OF ALL! |

Celebrate Hanukkah at Christmas!
Hanukkah- Gods Miracle Of Light |
|
This is the season of Christmas.
And, it is also the season of another biblically-connected
holiday, Hanukkah. Holidays are the stuff of memories,
reinforced by sights, sounds, good food and delicious
smells. They are times when family and good friends
gather to celebrate and share the event together, even
making new memories. Certainly, God is not one to be left
out of the celebration. Hanukkah, meaning
dedication, is also called the Feast of Dedication. It is
a post-biblical holiday which commemorates the Maccabean
victory over the Syrians in the year 165 BC. At this
time, the Temple in Jerusalem was rededicated after it
had been defiled by the pagan tyrant, Antiochus IV, king
of Syria when he slaughtered a pig on the altar of God to
mock Him and the faith and worship of the Jewish people. |

Sukkot - The Feast of Tabernacles |
| On Sukkot, Jews commemorate the Exodus from Egypt and give thanks for a bountiful harvest. Tens of thousands of Israelis erect sukkot - booths for temporary dwelling, resembling those in which the Israelites lived in the desert, after the Exodus. The holiday weeks ends with the celebration of Shemini Atseret/ Simhat Torah, when Jews renew the yearly cycle of Torah reading. |

|
| The worship of the Lord involves much more than going to a service where we sing some songs and hear the preaching of the Word. Worshipping God is a lifestyle that encompasses our whole being, day in and day out - what we say, what we do, and most importantly, how we do it... |
|
God Looks Upon The Heart Of Man Lesson #1: Since God looks upon our hearts, then we must transform our insides, our innermost being, to be more pleasing to the Lord. This will then be reflected upon our outside for others to see, thus glorifying the Lord. Romans 12:1 puts it this way,
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of Gods
mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy
and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual worship. Do
not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what Gods will is
- His good, pleasing and perfect will.Because we
humans tend to look at outward appearances to determine
what is cool by the worlds standard, we
often spend more time trying to conform to the world and
worrying about how we look, what we wear, or how we comb
our hair. Conversely, we tend to neglect transforming our
innermost being into more god-like qualities of lasting
value. What qualities? Such things as the fruit of Gods
Spirit, described in Galatians 5:22, Love, joy,
peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control. |

-Psalm 102:13, 14 - "Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time is come. For Thy servants rake pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof." |
| A selfish man in trouble is exceedingly hard to comfort, because the springs of his comfort entirely within himself, and when he is sad all his springs are dry. But a large-hearted man full of Christian philanthropy, has other springs from which to supply himself with comfort beside those which lie within. He can go to his God first of all, and there find abundant help; and he can discover arguments for consolation in things relating to the world at large, to his country, and, above all, to the church. David in this Psalm was exceedingly sorrowful; he wrote, "I am like an owl of the desert, I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top." The only way in which he could comfort himself, was in the reflection that God would arise, and have mercy upon Zion: though he was sad, yet Zion should prosper; however low his own estate, yet Zion should arise. Christian man! learn to comfort thyself in God's gracious dealing towards the church. That which is so dear to thy Master, should it not be dear above all else to thee? What though thy way be dark, canst thou not gladden thine heart with the triumphs of His cross and the spread of His truth? Our own personal troubles are forgotten while we look, not only upon what God has done, and is doing for Zion, but on the glorious things He will yet do for His church. Try this receipt, O believer, whenever thou art sad of heart and in heaviness of spirit: forget thyself and thy little concerns, and seek the welfare and prosperity of Zion. When thou bendest thy knee in prayer to God, limit not thy petition to the narrow circle of thine own life, tried though it be, but send out thy longing prayers for the church's prosperity, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem," and thine own soul shall be refreshed. |
